No two small businesses are the same. Small scale flower farming does not have an easy-to-follow, straightforwardly laid out business model. And while the objective of flower farms - viz, to grow top quality cut flowers and foliage for sale - might be similar throughout the land, the way people do it is achieved in many many different ways. Here we have four acres on a family farm in rural Buckinghamshire, conveniently placed for west London customers right in the M4 corridor. Different weather, different soil, different customers to a business like mine. But the objective is not dissimilar: grow flowers for sale, save the world one flower at a time.
Enjoy this great tour of a perfectly laid out flower farm in which Kim has been on a rip rollocking ride to set up a profitable business in only five years. You need energy to work like this and Kim has it in spades.
